About St. Croix County Criminal History

St. Croix County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin Circuit Court, Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau, Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and Wisconsin Public Sex Offender Registry. Each office keeps a different part of the history. This privately operated resource organizes the official portals, addresses, phone numbers, fees, and request paths so readers can identify the right custodian before starting a search.

Why We Built This Site

Wisconsin offers several public access routes, but they do not produce the same record. The St. Croix County Jail maintains current custody information, while the arresting police agency retains its own report. Circuit Court files document charges and outcomes. The Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau holds the fingerprint-supported statewide history, and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections runs separate custody and registry systems. We assembled the verified contacts, request methods, official search links, and published charges for those custodians in one county-focused reference.

What You Will Find Here

The material is organized around the official custodian and the kind of record a reader needs:

  • Official access steps: ways to search St. Croix County court, arrest, custody, and registry sources
  • Record explanations: how booking entries, court dockets, and Wisconsin repository results differ
  • Local contacts: where to reach the Sheriff, Clerk of Circuit Court, and city police records offices
  • Self-review resources: how Wisconsin name checks, fingerprint challenges, and narrow expungement rules work

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no affiliation to St. Croix County, any Wisconsin court, a law-enforcement office, or a state agency. That means several firm limits apply:

  • We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
  • We cannot submit public-record requests, expungement forms, or other filings for a visitor
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot promise that a published address, phone number, fee, or procedure has not changed

Only the record custodian, such as the Sheriff, Circuit Court Clerk, or Wisconsin Department of Justice, can issue an official criminal record.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral payment that supports the site. We neither set a partner's charges nor determine which records its system returns.
